me and this foreign call centre guy are now equal. The other day he rang on a withheld number asking to speak to my mum. I told him very politely that she wasn’t in at the moment but would he like me to take a message, to which he just said thank you and simply hung up on me.

Today he rang again and asked if he could speak to my mum. I told him no and hung up.
